BRS Group says product price cap could mean falling Russian exports and LR strength

As the EU embargo on Russian refined oil products comes into force, BRS’ latest Tanker Weekly Newsletter discussed whether this could mean that a global or European diesel crunch is on the horizon and what this would mean for clean tanker markets. This Newsletter was recently picked up by a feature in Tradewinds:

“We anticipate that larger clean tankers should experience more of a boost than their smaller brethren since they should also receive support from shifting European import patterns as the region looks farther afield, notable towards east of Suez, for diesel,” BRS said.
