Serving a strong industrial base, using sophisticated communication tools, the Dry Cargo Chartering department covers all sizes of cargo from its six bases, in Paris, London, Shanghai, Dubai, Mumbai and Singapore all fully integrated, allowing global, round the clock coverage. Working with all dry bulk cargos, including extensive iron ore and coal portfolios, the team has longstanding experience in structuring long-term deals, built up with a strong portfolio of contracts. The team is active in spot chartering for crude oil cargoes, refined petroleum products and vegoils, and also provides consultancy services on long term projects. On an annual basis, this large team handles hundreds of spot fixtures, as well as long-term contracts. Day-to-day activities include time-charters, profit sharing, freight futures schemes and, when required, innovative mechanisms to meet the requirements of unique trades and special opportunities. This comprehensive service is provided by a network of offices in the main centres of tanker activity (Paris/Geneva/Dubai/Beijing), allowing non-stop coverage of the global tanker market. Close co-operation between all offices and brokers in the team ensures a high volume of information exchange and a highly responsive service worldwide. The Liner department provides dynamic service to this vital sector. The highly specialised requirements of the Container, Roro, PCTC, Ferry and Cruiseship charter markets are all well served by the expertise of the individual brokers team with their knowledge of fleets, trades, transactions and tonnage requirements. The Chemical & Small Tanker Chartering department is focused on liquid bulk cargoes (e.g. pure chemicals, clean and dirty petroleum products, bitumen, acids, vegoils, molasses, lubricating oils and even wine) being traded on coastal and deep-sea routes worldwide. This well qualified team offers shipbroking services for the unique chartering needs of speciality liquid cargoes in parcels from 300 tonnes up to 30,000 tonnes. The Chemical team is dedicated to value-added niche markets such as Bunkering Tankers and trades involving ports and berths restrictions where small tankers are useful. The team handles all types of vessel Charters from Voyage Contracts to Contracts of Affreightment (COA) and Time Charters. (TC).
