Special project

In addition to conventional spot chartering business, BRS is also involved in complex industrial shipping contracts.

For example, multi-year contracts of affreightment for steel-mill customers in the Middle East, which may involve transhipment operations for incoming ocean-going vessels from multiple cargo origins, lightening them for discharge at shallow receiving ports.  Elsewhere, other clients have outsourced to BRS all aspects of their shipping requirement, meaning we undertake the totality of their chartering needs and all the back-office operations, laytime calculations, freight invoicing.  By involving us in every aspect of their upstream and downstream logistics, the client permits us to provide relevant advice drawn from our long experience and accumulated special expertise, adding significant value to their operation.
