Suezmax outlook ‘bright’ as Hess plots crude output rise in Guyana

Broker BRS says South American success story looks set to continue.

“ The country has been one of the success stories of the past few years in terms of oil supply and crude tanker demand growth, BRS Group said. “Guyana is now producing around 370,000 bpd of crude, all of which is exported by ships, sShipping data suggest that over recent months, 80% of liftings have been by suezmax with Europe taking the lion’s share as its refiners have sought replacements for Russian barrels.”
